Attached is the implementation plan for the Ministry of Education’s “2017 Advanced Training for Professional Investigators of Campus Sexual Assault Sexual Harassment or Sexual Bullying Incidents in Universities and Colleges.” Please review.

Description:

1. This training is conducted in accordance with Article 4 Paragraph 5 of the Gender Equity Education Act. In order to enhance professional knowledge and capabilities in investigating campus sexual assault sexual harassment or sexual bullying incidents, the Ministry of Education has commissioned National Tsing Hua University to undertake this project.

2. The training is scheduled from July 26 2017 Wednesday to July 28 2017 Friday at the Delta Building Ching Lecture Hall National Tsing Hua University No.101 Section 2 Kuang Fu Road Hsinchu City. The total number of participants for the advanced training is 120. Only those who have completed and passed the basic training are eligible to participate. Each public or private university or college may nominate up to two participants. Each military or police academy may nominate one participant. Bar associations and counseling and guidance associations may notify qualified members to participate. Admission will be determined according to the order of registration. The admission list will be announced on Friday June 23 2017 on the Ministry of Education “Gender Equity Education Global Information Network,” and admission notifications will be sent. In addition the Ministry of Education has planned to conduct basic and advanced South Region training programs for professional investigators of campus sexual assault sexual harassment or sexual bullying incidents in universities and colleges in the second half of 2017. Those who are not admitted to this training may register for the advanced South Region training.
