Forwarding Notice: The Executive Yuan will hold the "Executive Yuan Gender Impact Assessment Observation and Exchange Workshop" on November 20 2025 Thursday. Please encourage experts and scholars with gender equality expertise in your organization to register and participate.

Explanation:

1. Handled in accordance with the letter from the Secretary General of the Executive Yuan dated July 31 2025 Yuan Tai Gender Equality No 1145013873.

2. The Executive Yuan has implemented the Gender Impact Assessment system since 2009. Important medium and long term individual project plans and legislative proposals must undergo a Gender Impact Assessment before submission to the Executive Yuan for review. Experts and scholars in gender equality hereinafter referred to as procedural participation experts must be invited to provide review opinions during the assessment process. In addition the revised "Gender Impact Assessment Checklist for Medium and Long Term Individual Project Plans" and the "Checklist for Legislative Human Rights and Gender Impact Assessment" were issued on February 4 and March 24 this year. Agencies are requested to prioritize inviting individuals listed in the "Executive Yuan Gender Impact Assessment Talent Reference List" hereinafter referred to as this list to serve as procedural participation experts. This list has been published on the Executive Yuan Gender Equality Committee website.

3. In order to provide individuals on this list with the latest information on Executive Yuan gender equality policies and implementation mechanisms promote exchange learning and encourage experts and scholars from various fields who are willing to join this list to participate this workshop is organized in accordance with Item 6 of the "Guidelines for Establishment and Maintenance of the Executive Yuan Gender Impact Assessment Talent Reference List." A summary of related matters is as follows details in the attached brochure:

(1) Participants:

1. Listed talents: Individuals listed on this reference list who have not participated in the Gender Impact Assessment observation and exchange workshop organized by the Executive Yuan within the past five years. Those who have not participated within five years will be removed from the list according to Item 5 Subitem 2 of the operational guidelines.

2. New talents: Experts scholars and practitioners from civil organizations with experience in promoting advocating or implementing gender equality within the past five years. After participating in the workshop and completing designated practical cases those evaluated as suitable may be included in this list according to Item 2 Subitem 4 of the operational guidelines.

(2) Workshop date and location: November 20 2025 Thursday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the VIP Hall 14th Floor Civil Service Development Institute Directorate General of Personnel Administration Executive Yuan Taipei Campus.

(3) Registration method: Online registration from now until August 22 2025. Please visit the Executive Yuan Gender Equality Committee website https://gec.ey.gov.tw to download the brochure and complete registration under the latest news section.

(4) The list of accepted participants including primary and waitlisted candidates approved by the Executive Yuan will be announced on the Executive Yuan Gender Equality Committee website under the latest news section before October 3 2025 and selected participants will also be notified through official correspondence.

(5) Participants approved and notified by the Executive Yuan must complete the following tasks details in Item 8 of the brochure:

1. Before the workshop: All participants listed talents and new talents must complete the designated online course "Gender Impact Assessment Seeing Gender Responding to Gender" as well as the designated gender impact assessment practice case to be notified separately by email and return proof of course completion hours and the practice case file by email before 5:00 PM on October 17 2025.

2. After the workshop: New talents must complete the designated gender impact assessment practice case and return it by email before 5:00 PM on December 11 2025.
